Even big
machines contain small MIM parts. If these possess a complex geometry, their
conventional production usually requires multiple linked sub-processes. In such
a case it pays off to verify if this production wouldn’t be of more advantage
and waste less material if the MIM process were applied. The outstanding
mechanical properties, low tolerances, and weight advantages speak in favor of
the MIM process.
